It's bath time!

OK!
Yesterday was Colin's three week birthday, and we celebrated with giving him his first "real" bath!
What a production! I was in charge of the actual bathing, Sean was on Video, and my Mom was supervising us both!
He hated it at first, but then calmed down a little bit.
It was so much fun, and I think it helped him sleep a lot better too!

Oh, and the most important thing...no one got peed on!

It's picture day!

Hello Everyone!

I have fallen behind on my blog, but I promise that I will start being more diligent!
We had an amazing day today! Ana Brandt came to our home today, along with her assistant Tiffany to take Colin's newborn photographs. I cannot tell you what a special and memorable experience that Ana made happen for us today. We can't wait to see the photographs. You have to check out her website: http://www.anabrandt.com

We have been doing good here at home. Colin is sleeping about three hours a time at night, and we are all getting used to his schedule. He is such a good baby, we are BLESSED!
Yesterday, Sean was nice enough to let Mommy go and get a manicure and pedicure! It was Colin's first time at home with only Daddy. Apparently, there was a "poop" situation while I was gone and when I got back, Daddy and Colin were both shirtless and looked like little "lost boys"! It was hilarious!

Colin is 1 week old today!

Good Morning! I can't believe that our Colin is 1 week old today!
I have never before known such a love. We are having the time of our lives taking care of our precious son. He is just perfect, except for the fact that he hates to have his diaper changed! I am really feeling great, even though I am running on pure adrenaline and not much sleep. Luckily, our two babies with fur: Monroe and Lucy, love Colin as much as we do. Actually, Monroe is so old we don't think he really cares. Lucy, is very interested in him and gets concerned when he cries during diaper changes. Sean is the BEST dad ever, and is taking very good care of us.
